Ahara ("we," "us," "our") runs a home-kitchen food business based in Koramangala, Bengaluru. This page explains what information we collect when you interact with us, how we use it, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
When you place an order or get in touch (through our website booking form, our Google order form, or WhatsApp), we collect information like your name, phone number, delivery address, order details, preferred delivery date, and any notes you share with us.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
Our website hosting provider also automatically logs basic technical information when you visit (such as pages viewed and general usage patterns) for security and performance purposes. This isn't linked to you personally.
We also use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website: things like which pages are popular, where visitors come from, and how people interact with the page (through anonymised heatmaps and session recordings). These tools may use cookies or similar technology and are provided by Google and Microsoft respectively, subject to their own privacy policies. This data helps us improve the site; it isn't used to identify you personally or shared for advertising.

We don't use your information for anything beyond running Ahara, and we don't sell, rent, or trade it to anyone.
Who we share it with
Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., which stores booking form and newsletter submissions on our behalf, on their secure servers. Because Netlify is a US-based company, this may involve processing your information outside India.
If you order through our Google Form, your information is stored in our Google account, subject to Google's own privacy practices.
If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is subject to WhatsApp's (Meta's) own privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your order and contact information for as long as reasonably needed to fulfil your order, respond to you, and maintain basic business records, after which it's deleted or anonymised.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by contacting us directly (see below).
